Day One // Saturday 29th April 2017
This morning you will be transferred from your home address to Newcastle Airport where you will embark on your journey to Melbourne! On arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel – Rendezvous Hotel Melbourne ready to be checked in.

Tonight you will board the Spirit of Melbourne dinner cruise. Enjoy one of Melbourne’s most unique dining experience with a delicious 4 course meal.  Cruise along Melbourne’s Yarra River flows gently through our exciting and vibrant city, with its spectacular illuminated architecture and shoreline. What better way to appreciate Melbourne and its greatest natural feature.

Day Two //  Sunday 30th April 2017
To start your day, you will experience the hidden secrets of Melbourne with a local guide – this is the ideal way to discover and learn about the enchantment of this cosmopolitan city. Explore your way through signature lanes and arcades, unveil local designers and specialty retailers that often exclusive to the city of Melbourne. Find the quirkiest cafes, independent designers, street art, architecture – with historical tales of Melbourne along the way. After your morning of touring, you will have time to wander on your own if you wish – free to shop, relax, up to you!

By night fall, be amazed by the panoramic views from The Eureka Skydeck 88 -situated in the heart of Southbank in the iconic Eureka Tower, the Skydeck stands at a staggering 297 metres above the streets of Melbourne

Day Three // Monday 1st May 2017
Take off on an adventure to Mornington Peninsula. The Peninsula offers everything from breathtaking beaches and historical National Parks to vineyards and hot springs. Travel to the tip of the Peninsula to visit the seaside town of Portsea with its famous coloured bathing boxes, and Point Nepean with its remarkable military history and spectacular views of Bass Strait. Enjoy lunch at a local winery and admire the views. Then visit Sunny Ridge Strawberry Farm and Mornington Peninsula Chocolates. Later, heighten your senses while you lose yourself at the Enchanted Adventure Gardens. Visit Murray’s Lookout to admire the spectacular views over the coast before returning to Melbourne.

Day Four // Tuesday 2nd May 2017
The Queen Victoria Market is famous for fresh produce and specialty shopping. Experience the Market at its liveliest on a fully guided tour, with your local market guide – you’ll spend two hours discovering the very best foods on offer, learn fascinating history and uncover some of the specialities you can buy. This afternoon is at leisure and if you wish – ‘shop til you drop’. For dinner, you will be dining on the Colonial Tramcar restaurant. It’s not only a culinary delight, but also a journey into a little piece of Victoria’s past – as it cruises the scenic streets of Melbourne, diners can enjoy fine cuisine. With a 3-course dinner and all beverages included. The atmosphere is cozy, the service friendly and the decor as inviting as the colonial period reflects.

Day Five // Wednesday 3rd May 2017
Enjoy a full day tasting the Yarra Valley’s finest wines and other gourmet produce. Visit the Yarra Farm Fresh for a palate-cleansing fruit experience before travelling to De Bortoli Wines to taste their extensive range of quality wines. Sample cheeses at the Yarra Valley Dairy and indulge in a delicious lunch at the Rochford Wines. Enjoy an exclusive chocolate tasting at the spectacular Coombe – The Melba Estate.

Day Six // Thursday 4th May 2017
Today enjoy a day of amazing contrasts and breathtaking scenery on this world famous coastal drive. Experience the best of the Great Ocean Road in just one day. Witness the spectacular Twelve Apostles and walk through the ancient Otway’s rainforest. Discover world class coastal views and encounter koalas in the wild.

Day Seven // Friday 5th May 2017
Relax on a guided boat tour in Melbourne’s Royal Botanic Gardens. Settle back in traditional wooden punt and enjoy the unique views of one of the world’s finest gardens. Learn about the history, environment and aquatic wildlife and plants from a professional punter. Drift around the picturesque islands and bays of the Ornamental Lake, get up close to the floating islands and see these beautiful gardens from different perspectives.
To end your last night in Melbourne, you will be treated to a delightful show and dinner.

Day Eight // Saturday 6th May 2017
After a big week of seeing the city life of Melbourne and its hidden gems we will be transferred to Melbourne airport where you will fly home to Newcastle with Virgin Australia and later returned to your home address.

For this tour to operate, we will need a minimum of 10 ladies. Remember there are limited number of 16 spots available, so if you are after a place on the tour, get in fast that way you won’t miss out!

To secure your place, all you need to do is contact our office on 1300 89 11 00 and pay a $450 deposit within 7 days. The balance of your holiday will be due by the 28th February 2017. Travel insurance is an additional cost and we will provide a comprehensive quote based on your age and any pre-existing medical conditions.

Please note there will be walking and the use of city transport to and from some tours/meals – Your local guide will be with you for directions, however please ensure that you are of medium fitness & ability to participate in these activities. Should you choose alternative transport, such as a taxi – this is at additional expense. Plus, we believe Melbourne is a city of hidden wonders and to find we must wander. For this tour to run, we will need a minimum of 10 expressions of interests.
