Day One // 24th August 2017
This morning you will be transferred from your home address to Sydney airport. We will be travelling into Seattle to start our amazing journey.

Day Two // 25th August 2017
Today travel through Chinatown-International District, stopping to visit Pioneer Square, a historic neighbourhood that was once the heart of the city—Seattle’s founders settled there in 1852. Take a leisurely stroll past charming boutiques, quirky shops and great cafes as our local guide points out the Renaissance Revival architecture. Afterwards we travel to the city’s most populated neighbourhood, and hop out to explore world-famous Pike Place Market, Seattle’s original farmers market. Soak up the buzzing atmosphere as you browse the market and see the famous flying fish. If you like coffee (Seattle’s most famous drink), we will cross the street to grab a coffee at the original Starbucks! 

This afternoon we will check in for our 7 night cruise on board Celebrity Soltice. For the next week we will be staying in Balcony Cabins and you will have pre-paid gratuities.

Day Three // 26th August 2017
We will have a full day at Sea to enjoy the facilities on board the Soltice. Tonight, we will enjoy dinner in one of the ship’s specialty restaurants.

Day Four // 27th August 2017
Today we cruise into Ketchikan and will be in port from 7am-4pm. You’ve never tasted salmon so fresh. Known as the ‘Salmon Capital of the World’, Ketchikan is also the ancestral home of the Tlingit people, who have carved the world’s largest collection of totem poles. If you’re up for an adventure, take a canoe and nature trail excursion through the rain forest or a wilderness exploration followed by a sumptuous crab feast you can’t resist. Shore excursions are not included in your JTW Tour.

Day Five // 28th August 2017
The Tracy Arm Fjord is book-ended by two of Alaska’s most dramatic glaciers, the North and South Sawyer, and surrounded by granite walls that rise 3,000 feet from the emerald coloured seas. This area has everything you’ve come to Alaska to experience.

Day Six // 29th August 2017
Cruising into Juneau after lunch, here’s your chance to take a glacial dogsled adventure via helicopter in Alaska’s capital. A city that gracefully balances frontier ruggedness with cosmopolitan flair. Mendenhall Glacier, a river of ice measuring 1.5 miles in width and over 6 miles in length, is part of Juneau’s Icefield, 1500 square miles of ice that feeds 38 glaciers and ready for you to take a float trip on it. Shore excursions are not included in your JTW Tour.

Day Seven // 30th August 2017
Today we will have the day in Skagway, uncovering authentic local finds and the opportunity for some amazing experiences – from river safaris to dog sledding; hiking, horseriding or even play a round of golf. Shore excursions are not included in your JTW Tour.

Day Eight // 31st August 2017
Millions of years ago, southbound glaciers carved out the Inside Passage, leaving majestic fjords, islands and bays in their wake. Today, we will spend the day cruising through it and the spectacular views will leave a lasting impression on you.

Day Nine // 1st September 2017
We will have a full day at Sea to enjoy the facilities on board the Soltice. There will be plenty of on board activities organised or you might even want to treat yourself to a massage in the day spa.

Day Ten // 2nd September 2017
This afternoon we will arrive in Victoria Island in the late afternoon. The capital of British Columbia is also its largest island. This one-time British colony has retained much of its colonial splendor. Victoria is a seaside enclave that enjoys a temperate climate. Instead of cruising back to Seattle, after an early dinner on board we will disembark to check into our hotel on Victoria Island.

Day Eleven // 3rd September 2017
Hop on a pedicab and let our local guides roll you through the quiet streets and trails of beautiful Victoria, Canada. Pass through tree-lined streets dotted with century old heritage homes and travel along the coast to enjoy views of the ocean and glacial topped mountains. Afterwards we discover the beautiful city on foot with a food-focused tour. Sample the best of Victoria’s foods with short stops for small bites along this informative walking tour. Taste barbecue with a Canadian spin. Get in touch with Victoria’s history by trying English food and traditional English tea. Discover Victoria’s take on eating local. Get in touch with Victoria’s history by dining in the largest food establishment in the city, while tasting locally crafted beer. We finish our day with plenty of time to explore the famous Butchart Gardens! Spread over 22 acres, these gardens receive close to a million visitors each year.

Day Twelve // 4th September 2017
This morning we will take a ferry to Vancouver before exploring the some of city’s most popular. Wind through Stanley Park, Chinatown, Gastown, Granville Island and more – giving us a great orientation to the city. This afternoon we will visit the Capilano Suspension Bridge, where we will find the World’s Largest Totem Pole collection, the thrilling Treetops adventure and 7-acres of rainforest.

Day Thirteen // 5th September 2017
Today we take to the Sea to Sky Highway, travelling to Whistler! Hugging the side of the coastal mountains and overlooking the Howe Sound, the drive is worth the trip all by itself. After stopping at Shannon Falls and Brandywine Falls you’ll arrive at Whistler in time for a leisurely lunch. After lunch, enjoy some free time to explore Whistler village or visit the top of the ski area via the high speed gondola.

Day Fourteen // 6th September 2017
We depart Vancouver today, travelling to Kelowna. In the Okanagan Valley, on the eastern shore of Okanagan Lake, surrounded by provincial parks, pine forest, vineyards, orchards and mountains – Kelowna is the perfect place to break our journey to the Rockies.

Day Fifteen // 7th September 2017
Travelling through to Banff we will have our first look at the Rockies, which dominate the skyline. On Banff Avenue, the main thoroughfare, boutiques and restaurants mix with château-style hotels and souvenir shops. The surrounding 6,500 square kilometres of parkland are home to wildlife including elk and grizzly bears.

Day Sixteen // 8th September 2017
Banff National Park consists of 6,641 square kilometres of unparalleled mountain scenery nestled in the heart of the magnificent Canadian Rockies. Our day in Banff with include visits to the Bow Valley Viewpoint, Surprise Corner, Bow Falls and Lake Minnewaka. We will also take a ride on the Banff Gondola to the pinnacle of Sulphur Mountain for awe-inspiring views. The highlight of the day is sure to be when we board a helicopter, to experience the Rockies from the sky.

Day Seventeen // 9th September 2017
Spend the morning at leisure in Banff, exploring the quaint town centre before we travel the short distance to Lake Louise. Here we will check in to the iconic Chateau Lake Louise for a special stay.

Day Eighteen // 10th September 2017
Today we have plenty of activities to soak up the view in this stunning part of the world. We will visit Moraine Lake, travel by Gondola to a viewing point offering spectacular views and hopefully even see a grizzly bear.

Day Nineteen // 11th September 2017
Travel today along one of the most scenic highways in North America – the Icefields Parkway. We will visit the Columbia Icefield and take an Ice Explorer ride on the Athabasca Glacier. Fill your own drink bottle with fresh glacial water while taking in the beauty of the icefield’s breathtaking mountain scenery. Finally we take a stroll along the cliff-edge walkway of the Glacier Skywalk – a 1km walkway that leads to a platform where glass is all that separates you from a 918 foot drop. Afterwards we continue through to Jasper National Park.

Day Twenty // 12th September 2017
Discover Jasper National Park’s spectacular Maligne Valley with our expert local guide. During stops at Maligne Canyon, Medicine Lake and Maligne Lake, you’ll look for wildlife and learn about the human and natural history in this part of the Canadian Rockies. You’ll see stunning scenery throughout the day and have plenty of opportunities to take photos and short walks. Tonight, we board VIA Rail’s ‘Canadian’ for the famous train journey across the prairies to Toronto.

Day Twenty-One // 13th September 2017
Watch the scenery change as you leave the mountains for the prairies and great plains of Canada. The train winds its way through landscapes that will leave you breathless. Whilst on board you will have wine tastings, presentations and musical acts; plus the opportunity to simply relax in the lounges and cars with glass ceilings, taking in the amazing view. And because mealtimes should be worthy of such breathtaking views, the on-board chefs offer you every day the kind of culinary experience you get at a fine restaurant.

Day Twenty-Three // 15th September 2017
This morning we arrive in Toronto, ready to explore the city! Ride to the observation deck at the world famous CN Tower, visit the mysterious historic Casa Loma and take a trip aboard the Toronto Harbour Cruise. You’ll also explore other favourite Toronto attractions and sights including St. Lawrence Market, Chinatown, Queen’s Park, and Kensington Market.

Day Twenty-Four // 16th September 2017
Niagara Falls is only a short way from Toronto, so today we will embark on a once-in-a-lifetime journey into the mist of the falls. Hear the thunder of Niagara! After your up close and personal journey of the falls, you have free time to explore. Walk along the path to Table Rock to get to the closest view of the Canadian Horseshoe Falls. Then enjoy lunch over-looking the falls. On the way back to Toronto we will stop at Niagara-On-The-Lake. Right in the heart of Canada’s wine country, this is a well-preserved 19th century village. Walk through the Old Town with time to explore and even take in a spot of shopping at Canada’s largest open-air outlet shopping centre.

Day Twenty-Five // 17th September 2017
Following the shores of Lake Ontario (one of the five Great Lakes of North America), we travel from Toronto to Montreal. Predominantly French-speaking, it’s set on an island in the Saint Lawrence River and named after Mt. Royal, the triple-peaked hill at its heart.

Day Twenty-Six // 18th September 2017
Today we will spend the day exploring Montreal. Travel past hundreds of historical and cultural treasures such as Old Montreal, the historic centre of the city that still preserves the charm and influences of bygone eras. Soak up the French atmosphere and enjoy panoramic views of the Old Port as you continue to Notre-Dame Basilica, a masterpiece of Gothic Revival architecture, and Olympia Park, built for the 1976 Summer Olympic Games. In the afternoon we visit Mt Royal Park, a scenic lookout offering striking views of the downtown area and the river. Atop Mt Royal, you’ll be greeted by St Joseph’s Oratory, one of the world’s most-visited shrines. The basilica’s huge dome reaches 320 feet (97 meters), and is second in height only to St Peter’s basilica in Rome!

Day Twenty-Seven // 19th September 2017
Travel to Quebec, a town with narrow streets and stone buildings – giving it a European feel.  Once we arrive, it’s time to experience the period charm of Old Quebec on a guided walking tour. You’ll discover Quebec City’s history from 1608 to present, gaining a sense of the day-to-day lives of the people who have lived in this lovely fortress city over the centuries. You will visit sites such as the Quebec Citadel, Chateau Frontenac, Quebec fortifications, Basilica Notre-Dame, Old Port and Place Royale.

Day Twenty-Eight // 20th September 2017
This morning we will visit magnificent Montmorency Falls – higher than Niagara Falls – and the pilgrimage shrine of Ste-Anne-de-Beaupré. Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré Shrine is the second oldest pilgrimage site in North America, welcoming more than a million visitors every year. Tonight we will enjoy a special farewell meal in Quebec as our journey through Canada comes to an end.
