I started in the travel industry after completing study at TAFE. After a few years of being a travel consultant, I discovered that my true passion was the accounting side of things. Since then, I have been concentrating on financials and have moved my career forward in that direction.
I have been working in the travel industry for a long time, just in an accounting and financial capacity. It has actually been 15 years since I first started in the travel industry.
So, when I say I have been working in the industry for a while, I mean I have been assisting with financial and accounting needs of those working in the travel industry.
After leaving work for a few years to grow my own family, I started my current position at Jayes Travel.
I love playing a part in our client’s travel journeys and I play an active role assisting in booking their adventures and helping clients on the reception desk. I really enjoy the fun, open office environment we have here at Jayes Travel – working with a great team of people helps with this!
You will find me at the reception desk a couple of days a week so make sure you drop in and say hi.
As I have a family, the attractions that we visit must be interesting for myself, my partner, and my children. I do a bit of research to find some attractions that my family would love and build a holiday around them.
Hawaii. Hawaii. Hawaii.
It has all of my favourite things: sunny beach weather, great shopping (open well into the evening!), a relaxed vibe, and fantastic food. What more could you ask for from a holiday destination?
